A bad seller and Awesome Light is preferred to One Called Alice and Coral Shores. Awesome Light makes a drop into the grade for first time having had four career starts thus far. It is obviously a concern that there has been an absence since his last race but this race is so moderate that if he runs up to his mark, he should win. One Called Alice won on the fibresand at Southwell. She ran disappointingly when tried over this trip a couple of days a later. Coral Shores never showed at Southwell over a mile. His better form appears over further. Landikhaya is tried in cheekpieces having done little with the blinkers. Balais Folly is exposed as moderate but goes well for Cathy Gannon. Blue Savannah's close relatives include the very useful Rebecca Sharp. Something must have not gone to plan for this to be an introductory outing. Fortunes Maid put a good effort up in a bad race at Yarmouth. Sadly, he could not build upon it in a subsequent start. Awesome Light should land a race that won't make too many headlines on Friday morning.
