Verdict

El Bandito gets the verdict with Terek and Quanton Hills the main dangers in this handicap chase. The selection finished fourth behind Sir Storm at Haydock last time after disappointing on his previous effort, but as a consequence he is dropped to a reasonable mark and he has the ability to go well. Terek was returning from a break when a fair sixth behind Middlethorpe at Wetherby last time. He is sure to come on for that run and with Richard Johnson taking over in the plate he will give our selection the most to do. Quanton Hills ran better than the bare form suggests when seventh behind Jack Pot II at Wetherby last time, and with the drop in trip in his favour, he looks well worth a second look. Spring Lover ran well enough at Ludlow last time out and if he gets the trip he could be capable of going well, but for the winner we return to El Bandito.
