Verdict

Parknasilla, Milord Lescribaa and Montevideo look the three to concentrate on this novices' hurdle and we will take a chance on Parknasilla. The selection hails from from the Mick Easterby yard and won well on his debut before finishing second under his penalty behind Albany. A reproduction of that effort should suffice here under conditions that suit. Milord Lescribaa rates the main danger as he was a fair fourth on his debut behind Tragic Ohio and with the Martin Pipe yard now beginning to hit top form again further improvement is anticipated. Montevideo is another from a leading yard but he only showed a modicum of ability on his debut and he may be seen to better effect when he goes handicapping. Of the remainder, Scarlet Fantasy has shown a consistent level of form and might be capable of taking a place, but for the winner we return to Parknasilla.
