Given the form of the stable's horses at Cheltenham last week, the chances are that Nous Voila will be straight enough for his debut for Martin Pipe and he is taken to make a winning start for new connections at the main expense of Rights Of Man and Amarula Ridge. The last mentioned was a useful performer on the level but has, so far, proved to be something of a disappointment over hurdles and seems something of a doubtful stayer so is probably best watched. Dhehdaah has the ability to play a part in a race of this nature but has not been at his best in recent starts on the flat, while Sangiovese lacks any hurdling experience but has to be respected given his connections. Winapenny comes from a yard in top form at present but is likely to find at least one too quick including Irish raider Rights Of Man, who has claims but may find the concession of weight to Nous Voila too much. Martin Pipe's gelding was a winner on the flat in his native France but has a jumping pedigree and it would come as no surprise to see him make a winning debut for the in-form Pipe yard.
