Magico has been running with some consistency of late but Richard Guest has been struggling to find winners so he may be booked for a place at best again and a better bet looks to be Prince Roscoe, who gets the vote ahead of First De La Brunie and Eau Pure. The last mentioned seemed not to stay the trip at Fontwell last time and could be of more interest back in distance today off what appears a fair mark. Konker is well treated in comparison to his current hurdles rating but has shown no real aptitude for chasing, while Get Smart should improve for his two starts previously this term and hails from a yard that can do little wrong of late so has to be respected. Captains Table would have a chance if fit enough for his return although more solid claims are probably held by the lightly raced First De La Brunie, who could be let in on a fair mark. Prince Roscoe has an obvious chance on what he showed at Punchestown earlier this month though and is taken to go one better here.
