In depth

Verdict

Saint Thomas arrives on the back of a battling success at Beverley and is a leading player but always reserves his best for the Yorkshire venue where five of seven Flat wins have been achieved. There's nothing wrong with the consistency of Percys Princess as she's made the frame in six of nine starts on Turf and nearly always runs her race. This is a decent opportunity but a career record of 1-30 with the sole success delivered on an artificial surface remains a concern. Stoneboat Bill is another with just one career success but enters calculations on the back of two useful latest efforts but a chance is taken with COUNTY WEXFORD. The ex-Bolger inmate shaped well at Chelmsford last time until tiring late on and this drop in trip could prove ideal if promising Daniel Muscutt can get the fractions right on the expected pacemaker.
