Stratum is an obvious candidate after posting two solid runner-up efforts in decent maiden company this term and is sure to go well. However, GREAT ORDER (NAP) was very heavily backed on his seasonal reappearance in a manner suggesting much was expected but he was comfortably beaten into third spot at Newmarket. Nevertheless, the form of that HQ maiden has worked out exceptionally well with the winner going on to run a fine second in Listed company at Sandown and the runner-up scoring next time. The Godolphin colt still looked a little green at Newmarket and a more streetwise performance is anticipated here. Keep an eye on the Gosden second string, Foible, in the market whilst Intercepted is coming along steadily but looks one more for handicaps in the near future.
