Verdict
TANFIDH stands out in this field and is fancied to get the better of some more exposed rivals, of whom Veiled Applause and Moonage Daydream could be the most interesting. Lightly raced runners from the Tregoning yard always merit respect in handicaps and Tanfidh may well prove better than her initial mark in time. Her form looks solid, she's progressed with each run and looks fairly treated ahead of her handicap bow and has a pedigree that offers hope for further improvement. Decameron hasn't shown a lot of late but is well handicapped on his form for Sir Michael Stoute and is interesting with Probert up but more solid claims are held by Veiled Applause who got a fine ride from this jockey to win at York; he's unpenalised and rates highly. Agapanthus has come a long way down the weights and may have benefited from a break whilst a visor may help Cloudesley fulfil the promise that he showed earlier in the season. Pitbull has claims on the pick of his form but isn't entirely straightforward and a more obvious chance is held by Moonage Daydream who has been shaping as though a step up to this sort of trip could bring about improvement. He could go close if it does but he may not be able to lower the colours of Tanfidh.
