A competitive affair in which LAYLA'S HERO is well worth another chance on his third run of the new campaign. He came from way off the pace in a large field of handicappers at Doncaster's opening meeting when just beaten under today's pilot and never really got going at Musselburgh six days ago. Jamie Spencer is back in the plate again now and the combination of a first-time visor and soft ground can do the trick for the Quinn inmate. Intercept is likely to be popular for the Gosden team as he is relatively unexposed and showed promise last time when a close fourth in decent handicap company. Ted's Brother and Ventura Sands, both proven soft ground performers, have solid form claims on their seasonal reappearances while Galatian and Flynn's Boy can't be ignored in an open heat.
