    Verdict

Cobreces is the pick ahead of Chasing The Bride and Swincombe, with Eastern Point best of the rest. One-time Paul Nicholls inmate Cobreces had not show anything between the flags last term so it was a pleasant surprise to connections when he popped in at 20-1 at Ludlow eight days ago. He was given a patient ride by James Snowdon that day and a similar performance in the saddle by today's pilot should reap dividends again while he is in his current mood. Chasing The Bride made a bad mistake down the far side on his Haydock reappearance, but still finished a creditable fourth to the useful Gun 'n Roses. a dual winner last spring, he should go well for regular jockey Rilly Goschen. Swincombe was third in a handicap chase last time and can get involved also, while Eastern Point, successful in a maiden hunter chase on this card last year, is worth a mention. The one with the best recent form is Cobreces though and he gets the nod.
