Lanmire Tower makes a quick reappearance after last week's success and gets the vote over Toms Gone Grey and Imperio. Lanmire Tower has plummeted down the ratings over the past two years, having scored off 119 at Wincanton in 2002, and was lining up off just 76 when getting back to winning ways at Doncaster last week. It was not the strongest of contests, but the the former Alan King inmate did it well over a trip short of his best. The move back up in trip will suit him and in receipt of nearly two stone from Toms Gone Grey, he is taken to follow up. The latter has been in good form, gaining back-to-back victories here last month. He is though once again likely to try and make all and is there to be picked off by the well-weighted selection. Impertio has not won for three years but plugged on well enough for second behind Ibal here last time. He will once again be running on at the end no doubt, but will do well to stop Lanmire Tower from following up.
