Verdict
Having displayed a liking for these conditions last time FOCAIL EILE is taken to land his second handicap on the trot ahead of Ours and the potentially well weighted Stanley Goodspeed. The pick stayed on nicely to beat the inform Kindest on similar ground on his last start. His mark has gone up five pounds as a result but he is still open to some improvement and he may have just found his forte as far as the ground is concerned. Ours has been close off this mark twice and at least handles soft going. The feeling is he still might be in the grubby mitts of the assessor at present but a big run isn¿t ruled out. Stanley Goodspeed is now a full 17lbs below his last winning mark so is possibly well treated. That said there is a reason for his tumbling rating and he'll have to put in an improved effort to show up in front. Very Well Red is yet to show up on testing conditions so is probably best ruled out and Inside Story also has the ground against him but he did win on his only previous visit here. The ground conditions look all important again her and Focail Eile loves the mud.
