    Verdict

Inchloch can repeat a course and distance win although Snowed Under and Newnham will doubtless make him pull out all the stops. It was impossible to gauge too much about Inchloss' success here earlier in the season other than to merely confirm the earlier impression he had given in two previous starts. He could be ahead of the handicapper at these weights and having witnessed Fanshawe pull off a similar feat earlier in the week with Nobelix on Friday. Snowed Under regularly runs well round here and lost no caste here in a head defeat last time out. His best form is shown when making the running so expect to see the jockey get busy early doors. Newnham was a frustrating maiden last term. This return to a shorter trip may aid him and the market is watched accordingly. Fanshawe should have a handle on Top Spec as that rival was previosuly beaten by Song Of Songs. Traprain managed to land a weak Ripon maiden. A mark of 75 appears none-too-generous. Summer Bounty has dropped plenty of the weights and has the positive of Jimmy Fortune booked this afternoon. The in-form jock has won on him twice already in his career and connections will doubtless be hoping for a third success. Doctored is best of the rest. Inchloch has all the right ticks in the right boxes and is our nomination.
