SPANISH MANE did well to score at Wetherby last month from an unpromising position and is taken to follow-up off a 3lb higher mark. Her improvement appears to have coincided with the step-up to a mile and she faces similar conditions to those which pertained at Wetherby. Vigee Le Brun has yet to tackle this trip in contrast but could well improve for the move, whilst Eponina goes the other way and comes down from 1m2f. Her April run when second at Beverley puts her in here with a reasonable claim, along with Rock Warbler who was more like it last time after a fallow period. Moakkad has been absent for nearly a year but the son of Helmet is the one to note in the market on this reappearance run for Mark Johnston.
