William Buick and classic-winning trainer, George Boughey, have teamed up successfully this term, including with SIMPLY SONDHEIM (NAP) at Hamilton last week. It wasn't a spectacular performance on handicap debut but the gelding did enough and it's reasonable to anticipate further improvement off a 5lb higher mark. Pilot Wings is fully exposed but didn't do badly returning to Turf last month when things didn't go his way either. He's never won on Turf but this is modest fare and he should be in the mix. Big Little Lie should also be competitive and has headgear applied now and both Mutara and unexposed handicap newcomer, Got Carter, are of interest.
