Joseph O'Brien was on board when CAIRDIUIL scored over the C&D a year ago and renews acquaintance for the first time since. A recent close second to Gris Ladera at Galway points to his mount's chances and, as that was only his second run since September, he should be forward enough to take this. Our Breff hasn't had much experience and looks high enough in the weights for his handicap debut but Lady Lyrath has been in reasonable form though she's still a maiden after 10 starts. Vasoni has gone even longer without winning but she's gone close on a couple of occasions and it would be no surprise to see her in the firing-line.
