In depth

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has been unable to get a race out of Purple, who takes a drastic drop in trip here. She's been making the running over 1m4f but fading though whether she'll have the pace to see off HAYLOFT is another matter. Mick Halford's filly has progressed with every run and just failed to hold the late challenge of Circle over this trip at Wexford where the fast ground may not have been in her favour. Silk Kimono ran well for a long way over 1m2f on heavy ground at Sligo and she looks best of the remainder.
