There are plenty of course and distance winners in the line-up including Path Of Silver, who scrambled home in May before completing a double at Tipperary. She's up 7lb but is in such good form that she can go well again. Avalanche has been in fine form and though the assessor may have caught up with him he didn't enjoy the best of runs at Tipperary on his hat-trick bid. Ruler Of France won at the meeting a year ago and makes a quick reappearance after a fair effort at Leopardstown last week so he's respected as is the lightly-raced Allegio, whose yard had a big handicap winner at the Curragh on Saturday. Settle For Red has been running really well though has crept up the ratings as a consequence so this can go to MOUNTAIN FOX. Still a maiden after nine starts, he looked like carrying Dylan Hogan to a first victory when hitting the front inside the final furlong at Gowran but edged to his right and was caught by Hasselnott. Compensation awaits here.
