The 16-year-old Megalala is the only one of these to have won over the course and distance and is having his 146th start. The lightly-raced SECRET SOUL found an extended 1m3f just too far here a fortnight ago and this is a drop in class as well as distance so she could be good enough. Permanent looked a likely future winner when runner-up in fast ground at Lingfield but flopped when fancied at Yarmouth. Rock On Dandy has shown some potential over shorter but Dark Phantom is now 0-27 and ran a shocker at Lingfield last time. Tony Carroll has done brilliantly to get six races out of Nouvelle Ere and he's only 2lb higher than his last victory. If Epsom Secret can transfer her latest Polytrack run onto Turf she would have an obvious chance of going one better.
