Verdict

Magen's Moon showed promise in her first season and wasn't far behind Winter in a Dundalk maiden in August. She returned to the Polytrack to land a maiden in good style in January but has no problems with these conditions having been placed on soft ground at Galway. Joseph O'Brien's quiet spell ended on Sunday so he'll be hoping a drop in trip and easier ground will help Apparition, who didn't appear to last out an extra quarter-mile last time. Connections of AUCKLAND wouldn't have been expecting the son of Galileo out of Cheveley Park winner Airwave to be running in a moderate Killarney handicap on just his fourth start but he's undoubtedly been disappointing in his maidens. He did show a bit more dash at Gowran so that may spark him into winning action. Mr Adjudicator hasn't been beaten far in tough handicaps over the last few weeks while further rain would aid the cause of Make It Hurrah, who gained a comfortable victory on heavy going at Cork when Binary Code, who has since run well on soft ground at Gowran, was beaten a long way.
