      Verdict

      MAY REMAIN (NAP) could only manage fifth on last month’s racecourse debut at Windsor. But the winner has gone in again and both the third and fourth-placed horses have subsequently won. That looks stronger form than Super Florence’s second at Brighton and Data Protection’s debut fourth at Wolverhampton. Connery is a half-brother to a couple of winners and preferred to stablemate Holdenhurst and fellow newcomer Major Peirson.
