GIN BLOSSOM, runner-up twice over a mile on heavy going last season, will have found 7f on the short side at Tipperary last month. She should do better over this trip and gets the nod though faces a couple of very dangerous rivals. Thunder Kiss started odds-on for her debut at Gowran but didn't get going until too late. She then ran very well in a strong Curragh maiden and, with the longer trip certain to suit, looks likely to get into the frame. Jessica Harrington saddled the winner of that latter event and her Toora Loora made a cracking debut at Roscommon before chasing home the well-supported Blackcatblackitten at Leopardstown. Illusory caught the eye in that Roscommon event and can make her presence felt.
