Verdict

A few of these have become disappointing though Moakland found 2m4f too short at Sligo on Tuesday. Lord Schnitzel has a touch of class though has done better over fences while Flurry Yeats ran poorly in a Limerick handicap. ROCKY'S HOWYA is reasonably consistent at this sort of trip and though well exposed after 13 starts should have a race in him and it could be today. Wasdale Park looked a likely future winner when runner-up at Cork and started favourite at Sligo next time but appeared to be given a lot to do and looks the main threat. Winning point-to-pointer My Immortal has been well supported in all three bumpers starts so will be expected to do better over hurdles while Plan B looks best of the remainder.
