Verdict

Sicario's victory over Ed The Red here a couple of weeks ago could get a boost from the runner-up in the opener. The Dara Man was receiving 8lb when beating Apple Crumble comfortably at Ballinrobe but was well beaten at Galway and the latter should reverse the form on these much better terms. Ilmig had a bit in hand at Cork but couldn't get close enough to mount a challenge in a much better race at Galway. Easy Punchestown winner RAVEN RULE jumped poorly next time at Tramore but was in a clear lead when falling at the last in a Cork handicap and can make amends. Wicklow Flyer bolted in over 2m4f here last month and looks a major threat.
