Verdict

Final Victory beat a huge field on his hurdling debut at Navan in February but that was on heavy ground and he's been a beaten favourite twice on good going subsequently. Stablemate Bacher Boy was in very good form on fast ground last summer but ran poorly over fences at Wetherby last month. Archie Boy rarely runs over timber these days but has been in very good form over fences recently though this will be his fourth start this month. Mayday Frontier progressed nicely over timber last year but hasn't taken to the bigger obstacles and may need a confidence booster after falling on his last two starts. RESOLUTE BAY went up 4lb for his Downpatrick victory and is another 4lb higher following his success in a real three-way head-bobber at Ballinrobe. Robert Jones, who gave him a brilliant ride on the latter occasion, is on board again and his claim offsets the extra weight enough to enable his mount to complete a hat-trick. The four-year-old Peccatorum has more to offer though he was having his tenth start over timber when losing his maiden tag at Tramore.
