In depth

Verdict

GLENSTAR has been in good form, stays the trip well, and though he's been unable to get his head in front where it matters this looks a good opportunity to finally get off the mark. He was 10 lengths in front of Ahead Ahead at Ballinrobe last time but the latter was returning from a very long break and should get much closer. Craigs Dream looks ready for this step-up in trip and Jack The Hat showed improved form here last time behind Daffern Seal when Granaruid was beaten a long way into second. The latter's best form has been on ground with plenty of give and unless the rain arrives he may have to settle for a place again.
