Verdict

Golden Kite will be fancied to make amends for his disqualification at Listowel where he was relegated to second after impeding Gallery Man on the run-in. To add insult to injury the handicapper has raised him 4lbs but that shouldn't prevent a big run. Strongpoint would have been chasing a four-timer but for falling here in May though he made a few mistakes at Tipperary last time and this is a very competitive race. Warcraft is another who will need to jump better but the the tough Will Jamie Run ran well when last seen in the Irish National and should have benefited from the break. Classic Frontier didn't stay the 3m4f of the Midland's National at Uttoxeter but had earlier won easily over 3m1f here where he had subsequent winner Blaze Trailer eight lengths behind. RED KINGDOM was a lucky winner at Perth last time but could have got in here lightly. He looks to be improving and this much stiffer test of stamina may just be what is required.
