OSCAR GLORY won at Bangor and Perth in September before falling when favourite at Cheltenham the following month. He ran a fine race on his comeback behind Golden Kite at Tramore before finishing runner-up to One Back For Luck, who runs earlier in the card, over timber here. He still looks nicely treated and doesn't have too many miles on the clock for his age. Oscar Dubh landed a novices' handicap at Wexford on St Patrick's Day and ran very well form a 6lbs higher mark at Limerick later. However, his strike-rate of one victory from 34 starts is off-putting and this is his highest ever mark. The tough Jack Finch loves this track but is much better over further and on more testing ground while the hunter Bolachoir is looking a little high in the weights on what he has achieved under Rules. Doctor Woodfield always produces his best on fast going and a long absence shouldn't be too much of a concern.
