Judgement Day failed to land the odds on his chasing bow at Wexford but was only beaten a head and will probably be backed to recoup losses. However, he proved hard to place over hurdles. Park Paddocks isn’t bred for chasing but won twice over timber. Niven was a promising third at Galway so has to go on the short-list but Sharps Choice was still beaten more than 15 lengths when third over a longer trip here last month. We’ll take a chance on YOUNG TURK, despite returning from a break. Joseph O’Brien’s charge developed into a decent hurdler last year and has already won between the flags so could make an even better chaser.
