In depth

Verdict

ARAMON, a dual winner on the Flat in Germany, is making his hurdling debut and having his first run for Willie Mullins after a break but he’s unlikely to fail through lack of fitness and faces modest opposition. Cooldine Bog went close over 2m here in June but has been beaten twice since. However, he looks the best of those with hurdling experience alongside Global Jackpot, who should improve for his fourth at Ballinrobe. Bill Hickok also has plenty of scope, despite never figuring on his racecourse debut at Sligo. Thatbeatsbanagher is the first foal to race of a winning stayer over hurdles but is probably best watched on this occasion.
