Ashqar lost his maiden tag at the 30th time of asking when landing a track and trip maiden last month. Alabaster made too many mistakes over 2m2f here last time after scoring over 2m4f at Tramore and will need to jump better. GOODBYE SOMEDAY had over five lengths to spare over Silver Star over this trip at Tramore having won over 2m5f there earlier. He'll need a strong gallop to be seen to the best effect but can go in again. Something appeared to be amiss with Cornerkova when well supported at Tramore and she's better judged on her second to Moonball here earlier. Mandarin Monarch has won twice on the Flat in the last few weeks and has three hurdles victories to his credit.
