In depth

Verdict

FREEWHEELIN DYLAN won over the course and distance in August before two narrow defeats on good ground. He wouldn't have enjoyed softer conditions in subsequent starts, the latest over hurdles, and looks certain to make a bold bid to defy a big weight. Gracemount won over 2m4f on soft ground here in April and though behind Jaime Sommers at Tipperary last summer will have found 2m1f much too short. Don't Let Go is 0-10 over fences but was only beaten a short-head last summer and is on the same mark while Allee Bleue got his jumping together here last month and looks certain to lose his maiden tag over fences before long.
