In depth

Verdict

OCEAN GLANDORE's brave attempt to concede a stone to The Trigger over the track and trip last month has been given a massive boost by the winner, who has won twice subsequently. Denis Hogan's charge was conceding 10lb to Eimear when scoring here last summer and though the latter has improved she may not be capable of reversing the form. Mick Mixy ran easily his best race when beaten 8 lengths by The Trigger at Limerick so shouldn't be discounted while So Enjoy showed that a test of stamina is required when staying on over 3m at Bellewstown though a strike-rate of 0-26 tempers enthusiasm. Robin Deuz Pois was well beaten in that latter event while So Near So Farhh is unproven over the trip.
