The consistent Musical Script deserves a change of fortune and is selected in preference to Ishibee and Ruman. The lightly weighted Perlachy can also figure strongly at this level and, having dropped a couple of hints that he may be on the way back, he could be good value for one of the places. Ruman won well here a fortnight ago and would be a big threat if he can dish out a repeat dose. However, he looks up against if from his new mark and needs everything to fall into place for him. Ishibee, like the selection, is a game and consistent type that has given her connections plenty of fun this year. Still, this will be her fourteenth start since May and, having looked vulnerable off this mark in the past, she may just need a little more help from the handicapper. Therefore, we prefer to give Musical Script another throw of the dice. The four-year-old has thrived since in the latter part of the campaign and, as he looks to be at the top of his game just now Musical Script can gain some just reward tonight.
