Verdict

R Woody's refusal to win a handicap is getting frustrating so we look elsewhere in this sprint and go for the hat-trick seeking Boogie Waltzer while Texas Queen is a little difficult to judge now back in these ranks Wanchai Whisper is another for consideration but much of his chance will depend on his run in a claimer at Lingfield 48 hours previously, however, even with a good run he may find it hard to beat Boogie Waltzer. The pick got up very late to score under a penalty in a similar race at Southwell last time. We would suggest he's slightly better value for that win than the bare result suggests and with no problem with this surface he can land a hat-trick. R Woody has been much improved recently to finish a close up second on his last two runs. He was only just caught last time and he looks booked to give his running again. Texas Queen was a very comfortable winner in a maiden on her last outing and although much better weighted than on her last appearance in these ranks she might need more off her back before scoring. This is not a straight forward proposition but Boogie Waltzer looks the one to be with while on this sort of form.
