Verdict

So Now won well last time out but Krackatara looked booked for gold when taking a tumble last time out and he can make amends today at the main expense of Oniphlaure and Doctor Kilbride. Despite having to give weight away to all of his rivals, the selection must stand a great chance of getting back to winning ways. He has progressed with every start this season and he looked the likely winner (was five lengths up and going away) when taking a fall at Exeter. Assuming that he is none the worse for that misdemeanour, he should run well with the likely decent pace sure to suit this hold up performer as he steps up to this trip for the first time. Doctor Kilbride ran well on desperate ground when last seen and with his form looking solid and a penchant for better ground, he could run well from near the bottom of the weights. Oniphlaure is very consistent and he got the trip well at Warwick last time out. He will not mind any further rain, along with likely favourite So Now who came good in a weak race last time out. Double Shot and Forest Silver both come here on the back of good runs, whilst at a price Pelo Du Bief could run into a place. Classic Quart is yet another to consider however we will return to top-weight Krackatara to score.
