In depth

Verdict

LAKE WINDERMERE looks the form pick to land this handicap at the expense of Dvinsky and Our Blessing. The selection landed a maiden race at Newmarket before just failing to win a handicap at Kempton earlier on in the month. He runs off the same mark today and only has to recapture that form to win this time around. Dvinsky is only three pounds higher for winning here over six furlongs. This step up to seven ought to be no problem and he is sure to be good enough to be in the shake up once again. Our Blessing runs off the same make as he did when scoring here last week. He has been in consistent form of late and is another that warrants respect. But for the winner we return to Lake Windermere.
