CHARMING ESCORT can land the opener at the main expense of Be Free and Reve Vert. The selection won well last time here when he showed a good finishing burst to beat Royal Encore., The form is nothing special but he is well drawn and he remains unexposed and we will take him to build on that winning effort last time out. Be Free was well beaten in a handicap last time out but this is a weaker race and this filly is unexposed so she can't be ruled out. Reve Vert was only narrowly beaten in an apprentice handicap at Great Leighs last time and he is well-drawn for one that likes to trailblaze. If he is given soft lead then he could be hard to catch. Bold Diva is from a shrewd yard and he is another who has to be considered in a race as moderate as this. However, for the winner we will stick with Charming Escort.
