SILAAH can get the better of Kenton Street and Edmondstown Lass in this maiden. The selection looked in need of the run here last time when he showed great finishing speed to chase home Izzibizzi. He is dropped in trip here which should not be a problem and if he can overcome his unfavourable draw then he should go close. Kenton Street ran right up to his best again last time out when he finished third behind Motivated Choice at Windsor. He has a good draw but the worry is that he has had plenty of chances and it remains to be seen whether his best is good enough. Edmondstown Lass was not disgraced on her first run for Richard Fahey last time but she does not appear to be the most straightforward and she can't be backed with maximum confidence. Spring Buck is an interesting newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard and he is one to note in the market on his racecourse bow. However, it is interesting that Ed Dunlop has persevered with Silaah and he is given the vote.
