There is not much winning form to go on in the nursery, but the well-drawn Hurstpierpoint can hopefully give in-form Richard Fahey more success, while Lowry's Art is not out of it despite topweight. Hurstpierpoint has been struggling since put into nurseries, but caught the eye on his all-weather bow at Wolverhampton last week, going down by just a neck to Ten Spot. Granted, that was in selling company, but we know that he handles a Polytrack surface, is well-drawn in stall ten, and hails from an in-form yard, so has more going for him than most. Lowry's Art makes her nursery bow after running over shorter trips than her breeding requires, and with Seb Sanders on board, she should not be discounted. Mick Channon complicates matters by saddling three runners, Llab Nala, Maiden Miss and Tobago Bay, with the latter fitted with a first-time visor. The market should tell us which one is the most fancied of the trio, while top trainer at the track Richard Hannon is responsible for Colmar Magic who is another that is well berthed, in stall 12. All in all, this is a bit of a guessing game, with Hurstpierpoint earning our vote.
