The short list contains Brigadore, Adantino and Financial Times, with the vote going to the first-named horse, although this has the look of a tricky heat. Brigadore was unlucky in running behind Adantino last time and there is no doubt that he is on a mark from which he can win. If he takes to the surface, he can go well. Adantino needs things to go his way but he showed with his Bath win last time that he is in good heart, although he has a six-pounds rise to defy, we know. The lightly raced Financial Times caught the eye last time and can go well over today¿s longer trip. High Ridge is more than capable of putting in a good show if on one of his better days, while Signor Peltro has scope for improvement if taking to this surface as a decent type beat him last time. Finally, do not rule out a good run from the first-time blinkered Blushing Thief, Ingleton and nautical are both pretty consistent and entitled to some though. Overall, though, we will stick with Brigadore.
