Plenty in with claims in this open handicap and preference is for the consistent Royal Envoy ahead of Hucking Hill and Millfield. The selection has now finished second on his last two starts and has shown a real aptitude for this track. This hold up horse needs a strong pace over this six furlongs but he should get it here and so can get his head back in front. Hucking Hill and Dvinsky are both course and distance winners who need respect, with the former being in better form. Star Strider returns to this trip having raced over five furlongs recently but has a bit to find with his recent win having come in weak maiden company, whilst Monashee Prince is consistent but doesn't win as often as he should. A typically trappy contest then in which Royal Envoy gets the nod.
