Crimson Fern is the selection ahead of Time Share and Capania. The selection benefited from experienced handling in an ameteur riders contest at Lingfield recently. Prior to that victory, her main undoing was her failure to settle and today, over the minimum trip that worry is eliminated. The mandatory 6lb penalty should not be enough to prevent her posting win number two inside five days, despite her poor draw. Time Share appears most effective over the minimum trip. Not the most prolific of winners, her sole victory came over the course last season. A step up is necessary on recent outings but she has been sliding down the ratings and hails from a yard in form. Capania is the least exposed and tackles this distance for the first time. From a decent draw she is put forward to reward each way punters. Despite her poor draw, Crimson Fern is the selection to beat home a moderate field.
