Hypocrisy looks the percentage call ahead of Xpres Maite and Divertimenti. Back runners have been able to score here of late if they are good enough and Hypocrisy, who is likely to be doing his best work at the end of this race, has a likeable profile in respect to this race. The mare has put two close up runs at Wolverhampton and Kempton together and should be capable of landing the spoils today. Xpres Maite is in good heart at present. This perennial front runner is always dangerous if given too much rope and another bold show can be anticipated. Divertimenti is arguably a better proposition around Lingfield so is reluctantly passed over here. Social Rhythm does not look the most straight forward and she simply should have won more races than she has. Sir Douglas has won in claiming grade over the trip. Methaaly often looks unlucky over six and is tried over seven. Bottomweight, Northern Boy, has obvious claims but does not often help the jockey through a tendancy to hang left under pressure. A competitive enough heat for the prize money and we like Hypocrisy.
