This is a moderate but competitive finale to the afternoon's action at Kempton and what can only be a tentative vote goes to HUGENOT, a recent winner over fences at Hereford for Philip Hobbs and able to race off the same mark back over hurdles today, and he gets the vote ahead of Black Cloud and Immense. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding showed gradual improvement last term and he has to be respected with the yard's runners in such good form. Carl Llewellyn's Doctor Robert has run to a similar level of form in his last couple of starts and he has to be considered but looks booked for a place at best, while French Leave does not appear to be particularly well treated for his first start in a handicap. Sheena West's Kashmina starts her handicap career off what seems a fair mark and she makes more appeal than Teach to Preach, who has plenty of weight to carry for what he has achieved. Black Cloud has more to do than when winning at Towcester last time but is at least in form, however, Hugenot has plenty in his favour and he is preferred.
