In depth

Verdict

Zafarabad and Ryalux are closely matched on their Perth run last season and there is little between them here. Both will relish the ground and the distance. The TEAMtalk vote, however, goes to topweight Eau De Cologne who has shown his liking for this course in the past and has run well fresh. Easton Gale has undoubted ability but with his stable out of form he is passed over here. Chevalier Errant has ability and seemed to improve for each run last season. This distance though is unchartered for the nine-year-old so he is best watched today.
