After a couple of disappointing efforts over fences Ballyvaddy was sent back over hurdles at the back end of last season and showed himself to be a decent sort, winning at Wincanton and finishing a close second in a good race at Cheltenham. If he can reproduce that form on his seasonal reappearance he holds every chance for his in-form trainer and he is the TEAMtalk selection. Red Canyon was a model of consistency last year running well at a few of the minor tracks but most of his better runs came on a faster surface than here. Heracles makes a return to hurdling following a few spins over the larger obstacles. He looks well handicapped on his old form and he will appreciate the ground. Buckland Knight put in his best performance on heavy ground at Folkestone and any further rain will aid his chances. Rainbows Aglitter put in a decent effort on his reappearance at Bangor two weeks ago and if he can step up on that effort he holds every chance.
