Verdict

Flashing Glance has won seven times over hurdles but was only successful by a head at Hereford and prefers quicker going. Haafapiece is another who isn’t getting any younger but he did beat a subsequent winner last time at Wetherby. NAVAJO PASS’ best run in his novice season came when tackling 2m4f at Musselburgh. He’s 5lb lower now and back in this grade for the first time since. None of the others can be dismissed out of hand with Stoner's Choice slipping further down the weights but Lydford disappointed on his handicap debut and Dargiannini took a backward step at Ascot in December. Herbiers could pose the biggest threat as he bolted up at Doncaster in November when upped in trip.
