Roly Boy, Duke of Aquitaine and Fisher Hill catch the eye here with Roly Boy taken to continue the fine form of the Richard Hannon juveniles. This seems an easier task for Duke of Aquitaine than his recent assignments which included a decent run behind the Chesham stakes winner Free Agent. He has shown ability and this looks a modest contest so he can go well. Fisher Hill hails from the in form Kevin Ryan yard and the trainer, like Hannon, has done well with his juveniles so any market move should be heeded. A son of Cozzene, he is a half brother to a juvenile winner but his breeding suggest he may need further than this trip. After being outpaced on debut in what looked a good Ascot maiden, Roly Boy ran a blinder in the Listed Woodcote Stakes on Derby day to finish a close fourth. That form is head and shoulders above anything else here and Roly Boy can dismiss his rivals here.
