In depth

Verdict

Indian Trial showed improved form for being stepped up to seven furlongs last time and it is surprising to see David Elsworth's colt dropped in distance last time so we give another chance to Peace Flag, who is returned to the distance that saw him open his account two starts ago. John Gosden's filly had become frustrating until landing that Redcar maiden over six furlongs. However, she failed to stay the longer trip at Newbury recently and looks worth another chance back over six in a weak contest. Polish Emperor was given little chance against Vision Of Night at Yarmouth last time and has to be respected in this company, while Cormorant Wharf would be interesting if fit for his reappearance. Aunt Rita showed little on her reappearance and of more interest could be Fiveoclock Express, particularly if the market speaks in his favour but we are happy to stick with Peace Flag.
